Below are pictures of Circe's rudder. The bronze shoe was moving when the rudder was pulled hard over. Here are some pics of the removed items. The stainless inner shoe which bolts into the skeg may not be original but it is this piece which was a loose fit. The boat yard will epoxy bond this in with the fixings which should fix the problem. The bronze piece which the rudder pivots on is original.
